Ales are our jam and that leaves us tons of room for creativity. As our Alesmiths Rick & Sloane wrestle yeast, manipulate temperatures, and choose grains & hops, they do it in a way they think locals will appreciate. They believe hard work tastes better and put a whole lot of effort making sure that comes through in every sip. We are a small batch brewery so on any given day you may find one, two or even five of the brews below on tap but rarely all. Plan on dropping in often!
A light pale ale packed with flavour. Moderately hopped with a balanced maltiness from the grain bill. Hints of pine and stone fruit with a clean refreshing finish.
IPAs are known for their hop forward flavour. Our IPA is a full bodied beer that is balanced with a blend of magnum, centennial, and cascade hops. For that aromatic punch, the brew is dry hopped Czech Saaz hops.
A traditional German Gose. This one is a sour with hints of saltiness and coriander. Because of its clean finish, it is the perfect base for fruit flavours like raspberry, blueberry, pomegranate, peach and grapefruit.
This easy drinking red ale balances a light maltiness with hints of caramel. Lightly hopped so that it's earthy tones come through. Inspired by Irish neighbourhood pubs where everyone knows your name.
Named for one of our most loyal blonde patrons - Jason - this easy drinking blonde is lightly hopped, crisp and refreshing. It has a nice wheat finish and is the perfect base for our seasonal Strawberry Blonde.
A refreshing german wit beer with a spicy aroma of cloves and banana. Light in colour and taste and perfect for the patio.
Just like your favourite fall sweater but with a twist. This brown ale is nutty, smooth, and toasty. Like a traditional English brown ale it has low carbonation. The twist comes from the addition of toasted 506 Hemp.
This beer is a nod to our neighbour the LBS (Local Bike Shop) Outdoor Elements. The perfect crisp, sparkling, finish after your adventure. Hops are present but really serve to balance the maltiness of this brew.
